Inc. magazine reveals that iCheckGateway.com (iCG) is No. 2,425 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
“It’s an incredible honor to be recognized on the Inc. 5000 list among so many other distinguished and growing companies,” says Jason Estes, President and CEO at iCG. “I’m proud of our dedicated employees for their hard work and thankful for our clients who put their trust in us. I’m thrilled to see what the future holds for the company.”
The iCG company began with 2 professionals in their industries, Jason Estes in Technology and Chris Hall in Sales, sitting at a kitchen table in Lexington, KY 13 years ago. They envisioned the plan to create a virtual software that not only lets customers pay with credit cards online, as was just becoming more popular, but they could add the element of allowing a merchant's customers to use ACH as a lower cost to the merchant and an efficient alternative payment method for the consumer within this robust payment gateway. This infrastructure lended to developing a variety of solutions business owners could use such as SMS and email invoicing, IVR bill pay, Quickbooks integration, and so much more, to have a competitive edge in the marketplace within any industry, but especially healthcare, financing, municipalities, utilities, insurance, banking, and education.
Their entrepreneurial dreams became a reality, authoring and owning the proprietary rights to the virtual software code, and year after year developing more secure solutions that their ISO, ISV, and other merchant partners request. The iCG COO, Chris Hall, stated, "The online terminal remains consumer centric with the ability to customize a solutions package per request during intergration. Our partner relationships can uniquely lead with technology instead of cost to give the merchant what they need when starting a new project or when integrating with their existing software."
Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000. “The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”
