MACHIAS AND PORTLAND, Maine (September 4, 2025) — Machias Savings Bank announced today that Alexandra Dufrane has joined the bank as commercial banking relationship manager in the Southern Maine market.
Dufrane brings more than 14 years of commercial banking experience to her new role. Credit trained and experienced in both business/C&I and commercial real estate lending; she partners with business owners to deliver tailored financing solutions that support growth and long-term success. She also serves on the board of directors for Catherine Morrill Day Nursery in Portland.

Outside of work, Dufrane is an avid marathon runner and enjoys skiing at Sugarloaf, where she has been a regular since 1998. She is also an enthusiastic golfer. A graduate of Suffolk University, Dufrane resides in Cumberland, Maine.
